The Harwich Centre Guild is a club for mature people (singles and couples) with time to spare during the day; offering friendship and stimulating speakers.
We meet regularly at the United Services Club (near to Park Pavilion), Harwich, starting at 10am most Wednesdays.
The first hour is an informal, social time, chatting over tea or coffee. From 11am till 12 noon we have a variety of speakers on a wide variety of subjects, as well as occasional entertainers. Check the diary for upcoming events.
| The nearest bus stop is Barrack Lane, Stop ID: esxgdpat, and is one stop after Dovercourt High Street. Buses at this stop are the 2, 3, 102/103/104 & X15 serving Colchester, Manningtree, Wix, Clacton, Oakleys, Ramsey, Dovercourt and the other villages on the routes. |

In addition to our weekly meetings we enjoy occasional outings to places of interest and theatres in London, Ipswich and Norwich, and an annual group coach holiday. Additionally, during the festive season, we hold a special Christmas lunch. Details of these activities are posted on the Diary Page.

Membership is by annual subscription; the current annual fee is £25, payable on Enrolment Day, the first meeting in September. This is generally reduced for new members who enrol after the New Year. Membership is open to the over-55s. The smooth running of the association is ensured by a Committee, elected annually at the AGM, usually held in May/June, before the Summer break.
